For Immediate Release
Birmingham, AL — crewOS, an all-in-one industrial field service management platform, today announced the launch of the crewOS Customer Portal, the first purpose-built customer-facing portal for the industrial field service industry. The portal gives end-customers of crane, material handling, mechanical contracting, and other industrial service providers a secure login to view their assets, pull their own inspection reports and certificates, and see a full history of the work done on their equipment.
While self-service portals for customers of other industries have existed for years, it has not been available for industrial field service companies before now. Customers of crane shops, plant maintenance companies, and mechanical contractors still wait days for documents that arrive as emailed PDFs or paper scans, often right when they are needed for an audit or a regulator request. The crewOS Customer Portal solves this problem by allowing industry customers full visibility and access to all of their information, history, inspections, documentation, and more.
“Our customers do exceptional work keeping critical equipment safe and running,” said crewOS CEO Jarrod Glasgow. “But the way that work is delivered to their customers has been stuck in 2005. Emailing PDFs is not how a modern service business should operate, and it is not how the best companies in this industry want to be seen. The crewOS Customer Portal gives them a delivery experience that finally matches the quality of the work.”
The portal was built and tested with two beta customers, Wise Choice Crane and Gengroup Crane, both of whom ran the portal live with their own customer bases before general availability.
“Love it. Our whole team is in love with it. Literal game changer,” said Julianna Adamusiak, Operations Coordinator for Gengroup Crane.
For crewOS customers, the portal replaces a manual workflow that routinely costs field service companies multiple hours every week. Office staff no longer has to download, attach, and email inspection reports on request. Instead, inspection certificates and service documentation appear in the customer’s portal the moment they are finalized in crewOS. Companies can apply their own branding to the portal, reinforcing their professionalism at every customer touchpoint.
The launch comes as regulatory compliance pressure intensifies across the industries crewOS serves. OSHA inspection documentation requirements, CMAA standards in crane, and plant-level maintenance audits all demand that historical records be produced on short notice. The crewOS Customer Portal puts those records directly in the customers’ hands.
“This is what an operating system for industrial field service looks like,” said Glasgow. “One place where the field, the office, and now the customer all work from the same source of truth. No other platform in this space offers this today.”
crewOS expects strong adoption across its crane customer base first, with expansion into adjacent verticals, material handling, air handling, pumps, boilers, mechanical contracting, and industrial maintenance, throughout 2026.
