The Latest 5 crewOS Updates That Bring Field Operations Into Focus

We shipped 5 major updates in this release — focused on giving your team more visibility into asset history, better tools for internal communication, and quality-of-life improvements your field crews have been asking for. Here’s everything that’s new.

Unified Asset View

Finding the history of work done on an asset used to mean jumping between screens. Not anymore.

The new Unified Asset View brings together all Inspections, Service Reports, Images, and Notes for an asset into a single, tabbed interface — right inside Asset Details. Filter by status to instantly see what’s completed, what’s in progress, and what needs attention. Every image is tied back to its work order so nothing gets overlooked.

Asset Details · Images tab — every photo ever taken for this asset, at your fingertips.

What’s included in the unified view:

  • Inspections — full history of all inspections tied to the asset
  • Service Reports — every service performed, in one place
  • Images — all photos, each linked back to their source work order
  • Notes — any notes attached directly to the asset

Work Order Internal Notes

Sometimes your team needs to leave a note that’s strictly for internal eyes.

With the new Work Order Internal Notes feature, you can add private notes directly to any Work Order. These notes will never appear in PDFs, reports, or anything your customers see — they’re exclusively for your team. Use them to track process steps, flag things for colleagues, or leave context for the next person who picks up the job.

More New Features

  • Upload up to 30 photos at once App
Field techs can now select and upload multiple photos in a single flow. Each photo keeps its own type and description, and a footer carousel makes it easy to review everything before submitting.
  • Configurable start day of the week Web
You can now set whether your week starts on Sunday or Monday. This flows through Payroll Reports, Timesheet Reports, Schedules, and Per Diems — everything updates automatically without touching any historical data.
  • Smarter Smart Reports Web
Report totals now update in real time as you filter columns. You can also add columns that display as clickable links, making it easy to jump directly from a report row to the relevant record.
